This series was originally released under the title ‘Land of the Long White Cloud’, and re-released in 2020 with an updated title and content to reflect its ongoing relevance.

Datastream Instant Print was a small, independent print shop situated in Te Aro, run by Kay Larsen and owned by her and her husband Tony. Kay went into operation in 1982 with no formal background in the print industry, but with enthusiasm and a subversive attitude that matched the subculture of the neighbourhood.
